Charonne Randall, LCSW-C

Charonne is a deeply committed Christian and holistic practitioner based in Maryland, serving the DMV area. With over two decades of diverse experience in social work, Charonne finds her role as a Mental Health Therapist particularly fulfilling. Her practice is characterized by a compassionate, attentive approach to quality mental health care, specializing in areas such as anxiety, toxic stress, trauma, grief and loss, and interpersonal and couples counseling.

Understanding that no two healing journeys are alike, even if experiences may be similar, Charonne tailors each session to meet her clients where they are. Her goal is to help clients connect their childhood experiences and spiritual beliefs with their mental and emotional challenges to address and heal underlying traumas that resurface in their current lives. Charonne is proficient in several therapeutic models and techniques, including Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Relational Life Therapy, often integrating spiritual concepts and addressing issues of shame throughout the therapeutic process.

Charonne's personal journey of overcoming shame and embracing her own story with courage has deeply influenced her professional ethos. She uses expertise in Internal Family Systems, along with other mindfulness techniques, to empower her clients as they tackle daily life challenges.

Outside of her therapy sessions, Charonne is committed to continuous learning, attending classes and conferences to stay abreast of the latest and most effective practices to better serve her clients. She is known for her relatability, dependability, and passionate approach to her work. Charonne emphasizes the importance of self-care, ensuring she is as well-nourished and fulfilled as those she helps. Her personal time is spent with her family, practicing yoga, enjoying spa days, traveling with friends, participating in church activities, or savoring good food alone, always mindful of maintaining a nurturing environment for her true authentic self to flourish.

Olivia Yonga, LMSW

I focus on collaboration, building rapport, establishing trust, and ensuring that clients feel safe, secure, and confident in the therapeutic space. I encourage clients to share as much as they feel comfortable sharing and let them set the pace for our work together. I consider myself “feelings-focused” in sessions and like to encourage clients to lean into their feelings while offering them support as they do. I know therapy can be scary and experiencing feelings might be overwhelming, which is why I believe it is important to highlight my clients’ strengths and capabilities.

I have a special interest in working with couples.  I use a strengths based approach to highlight the clients’ strengths and I focus on emotions and emphasize emotions in session, using Emotional Focused Therapy. My area of expertise is helping individuals work through the barriers to happiness and fulfillment.
